A Bit About Me:
Living here in the Charlotte area since 1974 and Mint Hill since 1997 I have saw the changes all around. But the biggest changes are coming soon in Mint Hill, with over 20 new developments on the way there are going to be some major changes to our small, sleeply town. Especially when the Bridges of Mint Hill gets started this fall, things are going to start rocking, just wait and see. And maybe move here before our home values skyrocket like Cotswald and Providence Rd areas.

Well the media just wants things to be bad. I think it's all political, but who really knows. Things in Charlotte,NC are rocking, we did slow down a little from last year 06, but it was by far the ... Read More »

Charlotte is the place to be.

Charlotte NC has been one of the top destinations for newcomers for the last few years. Actually Union County to the east has been the 7th fastest growing area in the US the last couple of years. This is all fueled by Charlotte's great climate, but most of all by the great prices. Where else can you find a new 2000 + square foot home with 2 car garage for around $200K. And you can really move upscale for a new all brick 3000+ square foot home with real hardwoods, full tile baths and top end k…

Hi Gary,

The Tallahassee, Florida Market area remains steady. Sellers have learned to adjust their asking price accordingly and we have not experienced the lows that South Florida is suffering with.
Leon and Wakulla Counties offer many lifestyle options.

I have been to Charlotte, it's a beautiful city. I have added you to my friends list.

Hi, Gary. Looks like you're "high on Charlotte". That's great, and Charlotte is a great area of the country. Thanks for asking me to be one of your friends!

Hi Gary,
My clients that are getting ready to retire could sell here, buy in Charlotte, and pocket a huge chunk of change. The San Francisco Bay Area has as you know some of the most expensive real estate in the country.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your e-mail. I will pass your name onto my friend that is considering buying a second home condo in Charlotte. She sells in the Pan Handle. Great lady.

Have a great day.

Sounds like you are motivated and that is great. How is the Charlotte market? My friend (a Realtor) is looking to purchase vacation condo in downtown. She keeps telling me that would be a good vacation spot for me. Do you handle downtown condos?

Hi Gary, here in Texas things haven't slowed down too much. I love living in Buda, Texas because it used to be a small town, but not any more. South Austin, Buda and Kyle are my main areas but boy, they aren't small anymore. I guess that's good for me as a Realtor® but sad to see my small town area grow. I look forward to talking to other realtors in other states and share any information that anyone may deem useful. Say hello to your lovely wife.
